SCOPE
OF PRACTICE:
JLR Medical Group is the largest anesthesia practice in the Central Florida
area. Our Orlando-based practice consists of over seventy anesthesiologists
and sixty CRNAs. We maintain high standards of care and skills in all areas
of anesthesia, including pain management and critical care medicine. The
diversity of these services at numerous locations throughout the area meets
the needs of the community and creates a stimulating caseload for our

OF PRACTICE:
JLR Medical Group is proudly committed to being Florida Hospital’s exclusive
anesthesia provider in seven of their Central Florida locations. Florida
Hospital is one of the largest non-profit hospital system in the nation, as
well as the second largest employer in the Orlando region with over 14,000
employees. JLR Medical Group is also entrusted with a growing number of
outpatient pain and surgical facilities. This growth has furthered JLR’s
need for skilled providers, a situation which will extend into the
foreseeable future.

CRNA
PRACTICE AT JLR MEDICAL GROUP:
Working together as an anesthesia care team, the physicians and CRNAs at JLR
Medical Group collaborate their skills to provide optimal medical care to
all of their patients. The wide diversity of the procedures performed by
our CRNAs allows them to expand their skills and expertise beyond that of
other practices. JLR also offers flexible scheduling that gives CRNAs
freedom within their personal lives.
SALARY & BENEFITS:

$58.00 per hour, with incremental increases up to $63.00 based on years of
service
(starting compensation of no less than $121,000 a year)

$7,500 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment
·
$5,000 relocation reimbursement
·
No overnight call positions
·
Overtime available, paying time and a half for weekly hours over 40
·
Flexible hours
·
30 days paid time off the first year (240 hours); 36 days (288 hours
thereafter

$2,500 annual CME allowance

Malpractice provided

Company-funded Retirement Plan up to $29,000 a year:

Pension Plan – 6.9% contribution up to SS wage base & 12.6% up to IRS

STUDENT SPONSORSHIP & SUPPORT PROGRAMS:

JLR Medical Group understands the challenges that face the CRNA students in
their academic studies by creating a
Student Sponsorship Program
in which we provide funds to assist students at various universities.
Our Student Sponsorship Program is available to students who have completed
one year of an accredited CRNA Program and have at least 6 months remaining
to graduation. Sponsorship is available at $15,000 (for a three-year
employment obligation) or $10,000 (for a two-year employment obligation).
These funds are set up as a loan and paid to you at various key dates
throughout your curriculum. The loan is written off over the course of your
employment obligation, so you repay nothing.
Student Support Program
JLR has created a
Student Support Program
to help students transition to full-time practice. After graduation and
relocating to Orlando, JLR pays new graduates
$20.00 per hour at 40 hours per week for six weeks. This is designed to
help ease the transition from being a student to being an employed CRNA by
allowing you to focus on studying for your boards and getting acclimated to
the area. Besides passing your boards, the only requirement is to attend
JLR’s and the hospital’s orientation, which will not exceed one day a week.
