JLR Medical Group is a physician-owned and operated group that provides Anesthesia, Pain Management and Critical Care services throughout central Florida. JLR Research Group is a division dedicated to conducting research clinical trials for companies developing new medications, treatments and biomedical devices.

JLR Medical Group consists of approximately 70 physicians and 45 nurse anesthetists. Several of our physicians have served as faculty members of major university medical programs and about 15 have dual-board certification in Anesthesiology and either Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Pain Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Pediatrics or Pediatric Critical Care.

JLR Research Group is a division of the JLR Medical Group. The twelve physician members perform clinical investigations with complete access to the corporation’s substantial resources. These physicians bring a wide variety of clinical and research expertise to our group.

The JLR Research Group mission is to develop, promote, and provide services in the area of pharmaceutical and medical-device clinical research. We strive to provide timely, efficient services that meet the highest professional and ethical standards. We are able to perform the following services:

  • adult inpatient and outpatient drug studies involving various medical and surgical patients,

  • clinical trials for devices used in the operating room, intensive care unit, and for treatment of acute and chronic pain. 

  • pharmaceutical and device studies in pediatric surgical patients.
